Tuesday 19 May – Journey to Llandudno
We depart our local area early in the morning and begin our relaxing journey to Llandudno. Along the way, we pause for refreshments before continuing to the coast. On arrival at the Marine Hotel, there’s plenty of time to settle in, unwind, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere before sitting down to an evening meal and entertainment.
Wednesday 20 May – Ffestiniog Railway & Snowdonia
Today we travel to Blaenau Ffestiniog to board the famous Ffestiniog Railway. Sit back and enjoy a scenic 15-mile journey through the stunning Vale of Ffestiniog, finishing in the charming harbour town of Porthmadog. From here, our coach takes us on to Llanberis, nestled at the foot of majestic Mount Snowdon. A day filled with spectacular views, fresh air, and true Welsh charm.
Thursday 21 May – Anglesey & Menai Strait Cruise
Our journey today takes us to the Isle of Anglesey, where we visit the historic town of Beaumaris, home to a magnificent castle, pretty pier, and scenic promenade. We then enjoy a boat cruise along the beautiful Menai Strait, passing Victorian piers, elegant waterside homes, the famous bridges designed by Thomas Telford and Robert Stephenson, the notorious “Swillies,” and the islands of Tysilio and Ynys Gored Goch. We return to the hotel in time for dinner and evening entertainment.
Friday 22 May – Snowdonia & Liverpool (Optional Evening Visit)
Today we explore the breath-taking landscapes of Snowdonia National Park. Our first stop is Betws-y-Coed, a delightful village known for its craft shops, woodland walks, and impressive waterfalls, perfect for a gentle stroll or some relaxed browsing. After a scenic day, we return to the hotel for our evening meal. For those who wish, there’s an optional evening visit to Liverpool, where you’ll have time to explore, shop, or enjoy the vibrant waterfront atmosphere.
Saturday 23 May – Return Home
After a final hearty breakfast in Llandudno, we begin our relaxed journey home. Sit back and enjoy the changing scenery as we pause along the way for refreshments. We expect to arrive home in the early evening, bringing to a close a wonderful 5 day coach holiday to Llandudno filled with great memories.
